About distillate cartridge discoloration on the top of the oil (Oxidation)

Please, don’t panic! This is normal. Like all natural products, cannabis oil contains bioactive ingredients that will change overtime.

Our oils do not contain any additives or preservatives. A change in colour (darkening at the top of the oil in the cartridge) does not mean a compromise in oil quality, but a natural chemical reaction to time, heat, and sun exposure. A darkening of your oil does not indicate it is no longer effective or of any less quality.

Please keep in mind, all oils do have a shelf life. We recommend using your cartridge within six months of purchase.

For the best vape experience possible, remember to:

  1. Avoid leaving your cartridge in direct sunlight and heat. This will help keep your cartridge from darkening or leakage.
  2. Try to store your cartridge in a cool, dry, and dark or low-light place to ensure the longest shelf life.

Cartridges & Vaping:

Please note, that should your cartridge be hard to vape, this may mean there is an air bubble by the wick, or the oil is clogged somewhere in the cartridge, please do not force the cartridge to vape as this may cause the oil to be pulled up the mouthpiece, or burn the wick. To avoid this issue, take your cartridge and place in an airtight ziploc bag and submerge into hot water allowing the oil to become viscous. Place the cartridge standing upright for several minutes and try vaping again. Please repeat the process should you not have success the first time.

Cartridges and batteries

When using a battery, please remove your cartridge as much as possible when not in use. Keeping the cartridge in batteries for extended periods of time can cause issues with your cartridge and battery.

It is recommended by AVEO to clean the connector of their batteries with ISO and a q-tip every so often to remove any build up of residual oil.

    I am always skeptical of reviews on moms after getting absolute crap that had great reviews more than once but all of these reviews are legit.
    I just got 25 carts and I am blown away by the potency and length of effect. The flavors are so so but who cares about flavor when the price and potency are so good.

    My only complaint is the packaging. The carts are in individual little bags otherwise loose in just a padded envelope with no other protection. One of my carts came leaking I didn’t catch it upon video taped opening. I just counted them on video and didn’t notice the leaker until later on that day.

    Other than that Distillate Direct is Killin it.

    I will begin by saying I agree with other reviewers, I hope the price doesn’t go up after the word gets out on this product.
    This was my 2nd purchase, this time I bought 25 while the last time was 10 cartridges. I had tried a variety of cartridge flavours which DD filled correctly both times.

    For me this distillate is very good but lack of spectrum. You take the hit, this is great and potent but not in a long term, you need to going quickly to sleep or in less than one hour you’re clear.
    I would recommend for an instant high like a good coffee or a cigarette.
    I recommend but flowers and full spectrum are the best.

We were paying 30-56% more for the same size cartridges with the same strains at other retailers; the only difference between these cartridges and others is that this packaging is simpler. This is actually better for me as it’s more environmentally friendly with less plastic and paper waste. As for strains, Granddaddy Purple has been amazing for pain relief (sciatic nerve pain); Girl Scout Cookies and Clementine have been good as well. I personally don’t care for Blue Dream or Pineapple Express and haven’t found them effective. The packaging is great; I’ve ordered two times and each time the cartridges arrived safely.     Blue Skittles and the regular Skittles were Very Good! They both had a very strong high and lasted a long time. It delivered a clean clear, strong high.     “I love these carts! The distillate is very potent, definitely above 90% THC when compared to the cartridges from the NSLC (NS gov weed). I’ve gone through about a dozen of the “safe and legal” cartridges, so I have a good idea of what it should taste like and how they should hit if they are “clean”. Theirs are tested for each batch and are usually between 82-88%. These ones from Distillate Direct are noticeably stronger, which makes me confident that there are no fillers or adulterants. There’s no way they would hit this hard if they were “watered down” with anything. The taste is good but isn’t very strong because they only use 3% terpenes. That’s perfect for me because I get a really potent product, but there’s no smell when I exhale, so it’s super stealthy. I moved into a new place where I can’t smoke or even use my dry herb vaporizer, and this has saved my life! I can puff on these carts all day, and nobody is the wiser. The reason I took off a star is that 3 out of 18 carts have become clogged when there was still a little bit of distillate left, but that might have been my fault from pulling too hard. I contacted customer service, and they recommended a few methods to try and unclog them and prevent clogging in the future. Luckily, the carts were mostly used up when they clogged, so it wasn’t much of a loss. Overall, I’m super happy. These carts are the bomb! Quality product, great price.”

I have to say, its not the first time this happens too, but out of my last order a couple of carts were just not « very good » tasting.     I don’t care how good the product is. They use the worst service Canada post offers. The delivery times from Canada post is 11 days before they will look into the package. My package took 9 days to deliver to Ontario from bc.

    The web site crashes all the time and they take a day to respond to emails.

    If you just want cheap carts I’m sure they’ll be fine but don’t expect the fake 2 day delivery reviews your reading.

    the first hits were very terpene filled and tasteful.

    the only down side is a couple of my carts actually clogged up and i couldn’t suck any air through them, this was towards the very fast few hits tho.

    DD’s Delta 9 carts are what got me started into vaping. I’ve tried almost all of the staple strains they have to offer. I find their Hybrids / Sativa the best. Among the staples, I really enjoy Blue Dream, GSC, Alaskan Thunder Fuck, Clementine and Super Lemon Haze that are all great strains throughout the day. I’ve tried other shops’ carts and their potency / quality aren’t comparable to DD’s Delta 9 cart value. Occasionally DD will release limited strains and I am more keen on making an order whenever I see these new strains become available because I am curious to try and that they sell out quickly.

    Also, I really appreciate the way they package their carts. All individually packaged in a small plastic zip baggy that is enclosed in a sealed plastic bag. Overall, I really recommend these carts, especially if you are thinking of or starting to get into vaping carts.

    This is probably my 75th vile from DD and I can honestly say it’s 10/10 every single time! Zero complaints. I live in NL and it’s literally cross country and it gets here in less than 5 days. Also on top, the last order I placed was during a pandemic in BC, the terrible floods and they still manage to get my order shipped within 24 hours of placing. A++++++.
