About distillate cartridge discolouration on the top of the oil (Oxidation)
Please, don’t panic! This is normal. Like all natural products, cannabis oil contains bioactive ingredients that will change overtime.
Our oils do not contain any additives or preservatives. A change in colour (darkening at the top of the oil in the cartridge) does not mean a compromise in oil quality, but a natural chemical reaction to time, heat, and sun exposure. A darkening of your oil does not indicate it is no longer effective or of any less quality.
Please keep in mind, all oils do have a shelf life. We recommend using your cartridge within six months of purchase.
For the best vape experience possible, remember to:
Avoid leaving your cartridge in direct sunlight and heat. This will help keep your cartridge from darkening or leakage.
Try to store your cartridge in a cool, dry, and dark or low-light place to ensure the longest shelf life.
Cartridges & Vaping:
Please note, that should your cartridge be hard to vape, this may mean there is an air bubble by the wick, or the oil is clogged somewhere in the cartridge, please do not force the cartridge to vape as this may cause the oil to be pulled up the mouth piece, or burn the wick. To avoid this issue, take your cartridge and place in an airtight ziploc bag and submerge into hot water allowing the oil to become viscous. Place the cartridge standing upright for several minutes and try vaping again. Please repeat the process should you not have success the first time.
Cartridges and batteries
When using a battery, please remove your cartridge as much as possible when not in use. Keeping the cartridge in batteries for extended periods of time can cause issues with your cartridge and battery.
It is recommended by to clean the connector of the battery with ISO and a q-tip every so often to remove any build up of residual oil.
We recently have been receiving emails and complaints from users who have found that their CBD distillate Vape Cart has crystallized.
Crystallized CBD distillate is not a sign of a defective product. This crystallization is actually a sign of purity & quality.
So, Why Does Highly Concentrated CBD Oil Vape Cart Crystallizes?
Our CBD distillate contains a generous and very strong amount of CBD, which is naturally crystalline in structure. Once cooled down and after some time the CBD crystals will begin to form back together creating crystallization. CBD Distillate with lower amounts of CBD (Typically less than 70% CBD) will not do this, so its truly a good thing when you see your CBD Distillate crystallize.
What to Do when your CBD Distillate Crystallizes?
Put your vape cart in a ziplock bag or any other waterproof bag. Squeeze out as much air as possible. Run the ziplock bag under hot water for about five minutes to dissolve CBD crystals and turn them into fluid again.
You can also place the CBD Distillate Vape Cart in an oven preset at 160F for between five and ten minutes.
Lastly you can also hit the CBD Distillate Vape Cart with a blow dryer until the CBD crystals dissipate.
